Do you use tongue twisters in therapy? I like using them with my older elementary students and middle schoolers who are in the carryover stage of articulation. It’s a great way to work on speech intelligibility and it seems more fun than just working on sentences. We practice them slowly and talk about how when we speed up, it becomes harder to understand or say the words correctly. Sometimes we using pacing boards or tap our fingers on the table to help say them.
